I share the dsl with my roommates, but after that, icq can't receive file anymore la, is there any way to fix this problem?  :em06:

Probably the firewall inside the router blocks you from getting the files.

there is a way to fix it, but this increase the chance of getting hack.
There is a setting called DMZ in your router. Set that DMZ to the IP of your computer, (e.g. 192.168.0.5), then your computer will connect to the net without firewall. in other words, u can reiev e ICQ file and do many other port-restricted things

open DMZ is very dangerous. why? example like you will get the blast worm.
a better solution is go to icq--> Main--> Preferences--> User
Under Advanced Proxy
choose Not Using Proxy --> Use the following TCP listen port for incoming event
from 5000 to 5020
and then config you router
better choose port between 1024 to 65536
but not under 1024 because under 1024 will usually use by other program or application
